The summit marks its fifth consecutive year, with discussions covering private equity investment, financial transactions and the changing role of institutional capital in professional sports.

Their participation connects the programme to the business of professional team ownership and the financial decisions involved in acquiring and managing sports assets.

Former NBA player Grant Hill is also among the announced participants. His experience with professional sports ownership provides an athlete’s perspective on investment opportunities beyond playing careers.

Allen & Company managing director Steve Greenberg and Apollo Sports Capital chief executive Al Tylis are also identified in Sportico’s speaker lineup, bringing perspectives on franchise transactions, financing and institutional investment.

Panels Examine Sports Deals and Public Markets

The programme includes “Anatomy of a Deal” and “Inside the Deal Room”, two sessions focused on the financial and commercial considerations surrounding sports transactions.

“Sports in the Public Markets” will examine connections between professional sports businesses and publicly traded investments, while “Future Forum” broadens the discussion to emerging opportunities.

Other scheduled sessions include “The Business of Collectibles” and “Athlete as Investor”, extending the agenda beyond franchise acquisitions to businesses and investment activity associated with sport.

The range of topics reflects the event’s focus on how ownership, financing and commercial opportunities intersect across the sports industry.

According to the Sportico Live event information, general admission costs $1,200, while subscribers can purchase passes for $900.
