The Icon Honors
The Women’s Guild of Cedars-Sinai presents the Icon Honors to screen and stage figures recognised for lasting cultural impact and charitable work. This is the first time the accolade will be presented to a couple, BloggersMinds reported.
The award will be presented during the Women’s Guild Cedars-Sinai Stardust Ball, an annual gala raising funds for the hospital’s patient care programmes. The event is scheduled for Wednesday 18 November at the Beverly Wilshire in Beverly Hills, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
A night of tributes
Media entrepreneur Byron Allen will also be honoured on the night, receiving a trophy for his humanitarian work, The Hollywood Reporter reported.
Ford, celebrated for the Star Wars and Indiana Jones franchises, and Flockhart, known for Ally McBeal, have been married since 2010. The joint honour recognises both their individual achievements and their shared influence on popular culture, BloggersMinds reported.
