Lucknow: Chief minister Yogi Adityanath congratulated UP residents who received Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Padma Shri awards for 2026 from President Droupadi Murmu on Tuesday.

In a message on ‘X’ for Chiranji Lal Yadav, the CM said: “For past five decades, your contribution to preserving, nurturing and giving a new national and international identity to the rich art of ‘Kansa Nakkashi’ has been invaluable and commendable. This distinguished achievement of yours has enhanced the prestige of UP in the country and across the world.”

Highlighting contribution of late Raghupat Singh to the field of agriculture, the CM wrote: “For more than five decades, his dedication to service gave a new direction to Indian agriculture.
